My series Portraits of Light is currently exhibited at the Child Mind Institute Center for Excellence in Manhattan. Created in response to a student publication revealing that students of color felt undervalued in their school community, these oil portraits honor and celebrate the inherent value, strength, and beauty of these individuals.
