The fairy doors of Riverdale were my small, heartfelt gift to the community, a way to celebrate the wonder and beauty of this extraordinary neighborhood. Inspired by its fairytale beauty, I began a secret project: creating and anonymously installing fairy house elements throughout the area. Some of the fairy doors lasted for years, undisturbed, while others disappeared within days. I never knew who discovered them or how they were received, but I hoped they brought a little magic to someone’s day.
